Publications
During my academic life (I used to be a student and now I teach at university on the evenings) I had the pleasure to publish and present some papers. He are the abstracts of academic publication I've written. Teaching and e-Correcting Java & J2EE for ProfessionalsDepartment of Computer Science, Cedric, CNAM, Paris, France
Presented for the IEEE conference in 2003 in Tunis (Tunisia) This paper explains the methodology used at the Conserva-toire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM), Paris in teach-ing the Ingenieurie des Ateliers en Genie Logiciel (IAGL) course to adult students attending evening classes. This course, which is part of the Distance Learning Program being developed at the CNAM, allows students with little or no knowledge of Java to gain a clear understanding of the language and its advanced features, such as J2EE. This paper details the progression of the course, with an emphasis on practical assignments using on-line tools, which enables students to complete sections of the course off-site and the teachers to interact with them and mark their work Keywords: Education, Java, J2EE, Distance Learning. An ANSAware-CORBA Interoperability Approach
Division of Computing, University of Brighton, United Kingdom
Presented for the ICODP conference in 1997 in Toronto (Canada) The purpose of this paper is to discuss some relevant questions of interoperability between platforms supporting distributed environments built upon different technologies. It shows the difficulties faced during the development of the SMmD project concerning interworking between ANSAware and CORBA environments. Some possible solutions to solve interoperability problem are shown throughout this paper and an adopted one is discussed. Keywords: Interoperability, Open Distributed Processing, ANSAware, CORBA.
